The GST Council has lowered GST prices on goods becoming employed in COVID connected management till September 30. The choice came by the council in its 44th meeting on June 12. Mansukh L Mandaviya, Union Minister for Chemicals & Fertilisers in Lok Sabha on Tuesday stated that the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), on June 15, directed all makers and marketing and advertising businesses of drugs and health-related devices to revise the MRP–maximum retail price tag of things on which GST and tax prices have been slashed.
The reply from Mansukh L Mandaviya came in the backdrop of a query from Congress MP M K Raghavan, who had asked no matter if the NPPA asked pharma manufactures to slash the costs of medicines due to GST reduction.
The reduction in the price tag of COVID drugs and other connected devices, services comes as a relief to the popular man who went via the toughest phase financially because the onset of pandemic in March 2020. The modify in costs came into impact on July 20.
