The Delhi government has imposed a evening curfew in the national capital from April 5 to April 30. The evening curfew will be effective from 10 pm to 5 am. The choice has been taken thinking of the continuous rise in the quantity of COVID-19 instances. The evening curfew, according to officials, has been imposed to disperse the crowd from restaurants, nightclubs, bars, pubs, and party venues.
The government stated that vital services and movement of emergency cars have been exempted from the evening curfew.
Earlier on April 2, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had stated that evening curfew is not a option to handle the rise in COVID-19 instances. Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party government was not in the favour of the evening curfew and had stated that it does not program to impose it.

Wedding halls and banquet halls as well have to abide by the evening curfew.
Frontline and healthcare workers, government officials, diplomats will have to create identity cards for travelling throughout that period.
Others will have to create e-passes.
Essential services like health-related shops, nursing properties, hospitals, and other linked services will stay open throughout the seven-hour evening curfew.
Essential nutriment facilities like diaries, groceries, bakeries, confectioneries, and vegetable shops will stay open. But the government has asked these establishments to adhere to all COVID-19 acceptable behaviour.
Emergency services personnel like civil defence, electrical energy, sanitation performs have been exempted from the new restrictions. However, they might be asked to create valid identification cards.
Banks, ATMs, broadcasting services, print, and electronic media have been permitted to function. These people today can be asked to create ‘e-pass’ which can be obtained by applying on the official internet site of the Delhi government.
All public transport services to operate only for vital services.
Commuters arriving in Delhi by way of air, rail, or bus transport services will be permitted to travel supplied they can create valid tickets.
