The US on Friday announced financial sanctions on Chinese and Russian businesses that Washington stated had supported the improvement of Iran’s missile plan.
The 4 firms, accused of “transferring sensitive technology and items to Iran’s missile program,” will be topic to restrictions on US government help and on their exports for two years, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo stated in a statement.
The sanctions, imposed Wednesday, had been against two Chinese-primarily based businesses, Chengdu Best New Materials and Zibo Elim Trade, as properly as Russia-primarily based Nilco Group and Joint Stock Company Elecon.
