Kangana Ranaut has been generating headlines for very some time now, from fighting to get late actor Sushant Singh Rajput justice to her opinions on the current framer’s protest in the nation, the actress has been talked about. But, actress turned politician Urmila Matondkar believes that Kangana has been offered undue value.
In an interview with PTI, taking a dig at Kangana, Urmila mentioned, “Earlier interviews given by me were part of a larger interview, but most of the questions were asked about Kangana. I think she has been given undue importance and (I) do not think of giving any further importance to her. ”
Urmila also opened up about joining Shiv Sena just after leaving the Congress celebration, she mentioned that she was impressed by the leadership of Uddhav Thackeray who is the president of Shiv Sena. She added, “I had received a call from Thackeray himself before joining the party.”
She was all praise for Uddhav Thackeray-led government, “The Maharashtra government faced numerous challenges like COVID-19 pandemic, heavy rains and so on, but the government has performed really effectively in this 1 year (given that coming to energy in November 2019). I believe Sena has carried out effectively in this test of governance. “
