Britain’s government will investigate how footage of former minister Matt Hancock kissing his aide identified its way into the media and forced his resignation, in the most current scandal to hit Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s government.
After initial rejecting calls for Hancock to be sacked or resign as wellness minister immediately after images had been published of him embracing a lady he had appointed to a taxpayer-funded part, Johnson accepted his choice to step down on Saturday.
