Technology for MSMEs: To support MSMEs navigate the pandemic, Walmart has announced the expansion of its COVID-19 help efforts for MSMEs with the launch of Vriddhi Cares.
The programme intends to support MSMEs navigate the pandemic with enterprise guidance and sources, all supplied digitally.
Vriddhi Cares will curate a webinar series exactly where MSME attendees can ask concerns and get their queries resolved by specialists. Webinars held in the previous month have covered workforce protection, pandemic protocols for factories, workforce well being insurance coverage schemes, access to monetary help and digital advertising and marketing.
This programme is for MSMEs that are aspect of the Walmart Vriddhi initiative that gives capacity-developing help to support MSMEs develop to new markets via Flipkart and Walmart channels and the open marketplace.
In partnership with NGO Swasti, the programme will also provide teleconsultations and remote counselling sessions from physicians, nurses, and other healthcare workers to MSME promoters and their family members.

Launched in December 2019, Walmart Vriddhi gives MSMEs digital finding out via on-line modules and one-on-one advisory sessions to create enterprise capabilities to sell on-line in India and across the globe. The purpose is to empower 50,000 MSMEs more than 5 years.
