Washington:
President Joe Biden stated his beloved dog Major, who got into key problems soon after biting an individual at the White House, is undergoing instruction and has not been banished.
“The dog’s being trained now,” Biden told ABC News in an interview aired Wednesday.
Calling the rescue pup a “sweet dog,” Biden insisted that Major poses small threat.
“Eighty five percent of the people there love him. He just, all he does is lick them and wag his tail,” he stated.
Although Major and his elderly fellow German Shepherd companion Champ had been sent back to the Biden family members residence in Delaware soon after the biting incident, the president stated this was more to do with the reality that First Lady Jill Biden was going to be away from the White House traveling.
“I didn’t banish him to home,” Biden stated.
Three-year-old Major brought on a stir at the White House earlier this month soon after taking a nip at a safety agent.
Biden stated the dog was merely getting protective soon after finding startled by one of the a lot of Secret Service guards stationed about the White House.
“You turn a corner, and there’s two people you don’t know at all,” Biden stated, “and he moves to protect.”
Biden stated the bite did not “penetrate the skin.”
