Conservative-friendly social network Parler announced Monday it was relaunching soon after getting forced offline more than incitements to violence on the platform.
Parler, which calls itself “the free speech social network”, came beneath scrutiny following the January 6 attack on the US Capitol.
Apple and Google pulled the network’s app from their download platforms and Amazon’s internet hosting service reduce ties as nicely.
“Parler was built to offer a social media platform that protects free speech and values privacy and civil discourse,” interim CEO Mark Meckler stated in a statement.
He added the network was determined to return regardless of getting taken offline “by those who desire to silence tens of millions of Americans”.
Parler, which claims to have more than 20 million customers, stated it was back for customers that currently had its app. New customers will not be in a position to get access till next week.
Some customers reported Monday on other social networks that they have been possessing problems connecting, like owners of Apple devices.
The January 6 attack, when Donald Trump’s supporters stormed the US Congress developing in Washington, was followed by inquiries more than the presence of Trump and far-correct groups on social media.
The ex-president was banned from Facebook and Twitter more than the incitement of rioters in the storming of the US Capitol.
