The Rajasthan Tourism Department has joined hands with Incredible India, the Centre’s official tourism deal with, to market tourism in the state. This is a one-of-a-type collaboration that seeks to market a state on a huge scale and attain out to maximum individuals. The collaboration will emphasise domestic tourism and align it to several elements of Rajasthan.
On Friday, Incredible India uploaded the initial collaborative post that highlighted Rajasthan’s scenic destinations, which includes the monsoon destinations in south Rajasthan such as Banswara, Udaipur, and Mount Abu.
The next collaborative posts will give particulars of lesser-identified destinations, Rajasthani cuisine, dance types, and spiritual journeys/circuit. The collaboration will also focus on culture.
Rajasthan Tourism Director Nishant Jain mentioned they had been seeking forward to more initiatives, apart from such collaborations, to market the state’s tourism sector.
The state government has currently taken several methods to market tourism in Rajasthan, particularly soon after the outbreak of Covid-19 crippled the sector.
Rajasthan Tourism has tied up with UNESCO to unleash the possible of the state’s cultural heritage. It is setting up 10 cultural tourism hubs in western Rajasthan’s Barmer, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, and Jodhpur districts making use of the ‘Art of Life’ methodology.
The tourism division has also tied up with Skyline Services for specific helicopter services. In the initial phase, the rides will function on the Kumbhalgarh and Nathdwara route. Depending on its achievement, the government will look to launch related services in between Udaipur and Rajsamand.
The state government is attempting to realign Rajasthan’s tourism sector following the second Covid-19 wave with the helicopter service.
