Covid-19 second wave has taken several lives in the business. From music composer Shravan Rathod, Satish Kaul, Abhilasha Patil, film editor Ajay Sharma, to Bikramjeet Kanwarpa and Rahul Vohra, several celebs have succumbed to Covid-19 or its complications. Now, but a further identified name of the business has breathed his last due to a cardiac arrest which was one of the complications immediately after he was Covid cost-free. Subodh Chopra, the dialogue writer of films like Murder (that starred Emraan Hashmi) and Rog passed away at 11.30 am on Friday (May 14). He was 49.
Subodh’s younger brother Shanky told ETimes that Subodh had recovered from Covid. He stated that Subodh had tested adverse last week on Saturday, but his situation worsened on Monday (May 10) as his oxygen levels abruptly dropped and he made arrangements for a cylinder at home for his brother.
“He was feeling very exhausted and his blood pressure had risen as well. This morning, his condition deteriorated further, and I admitted him to the Lifeline Hospital in Malad. However, he passed away after a cardiac arrest. These were all complications that came after he got COVID-free, ” stated Shanky.
Shanky also revealed that Subodh wanted to direct a Hindi film. He stated, “He had directed a Malayalam film ‘Vasudha’ and he was extremely talented.”
