Cooking gas LPG cost on Wednesday was elevated by Rs 50 per cylinder, the second hike in price this month following firming of international costs.
Also, aviation turbine fuel (ATF) cost was raised by a steep 6.3 per cent.
Non-subsidised LPG cost was elevated to Rs 694 per 14.2-kg cylinder from Rs 644 earlier, according to a cost notification of state fuel marketing and advertising providers.
This is the second raise in price this month. On December 1, cost was hiked by a related Rs 50 per cylinder.
Prior to that, the cost had remained unchanged at Rs 594 a cylinder due to the fact July. This was the identical price at which subsidised LPG refills are also sold.
Since May, most cooking gas consumers have not received subsidies as the mixture of international oil cost collapse and domestic refill price increases brought parity involving subsidised and marketplace prices.

This is the second raise in ATF cost this month. Rates had gone up by 7.6 per cent (Rs 3288.38 per kl) on December 1.
Like LPG, ATF costs as well are revised on the 1st and 16th of each month primarily based on the typical price of benchmark international fuel and foreign exchange price in the preceding fortnight.
