Technology for MSMEs: As 2020 draws to a close, the Modi government’s business enterprise-to-business enterprise (B2B) e-commerce portal Government eMarketplace (GeM) has been capable to add 40,212 new sellers on an typical per month this year. GeM platform was introduced by the Modi government on August 9, 2016, to increase efficiency and transparency in the public procurement course of action and for modest organizations to leverage digital promoting of goods and solutions. The move came days immediately after the border clash among Indian and Chinese armed forces even as the government intended to curb imports of sub-normal and inexpensive Chinese goods flooding Indian markets.
