1: New Time Limit: In this IPL, every single group will be granted 90 minutes to comprehensive the 20 overs in a match. 4: Super Overs Restricted: During the IPL 2021, the organisers have decided to restrict the Super Overs. In the case of the Super Over situation, the teams would get an hour to finish the match. However, to steer clear of any added minute of stretching the match, the new IPL guidelines state that in case the fate of a match can not be determined even soon after an hour of Super Overs, each teams would share the match points.
