It is to note that Maharashtra has been recording the sharpest rise in active situations, surpassing Kerala now. The state had 34,449 active situations on February 14 and the quantity has improved to 68,810 on Saturday. Kerala, on the other hand is now displaying decline in the quantity of active situations as they went down to 51,679 situations on February 27 from 63,847 situations recorded on February 14.
