Maharashtra, which has been one of the worst-hit states, imposed lockdown-like restrictions on April 5. The curbs have been subsequently extended and they will be in location till May 15 now.
Goa as well had imposed lockdown to curb the spread of the coronavirus. It lifted the lockdown on Monday but the government stated that COVID-19-induced restrictions will stay in force till May 10.
