The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has entered into an agreement with vaccine maker Serum Institute of India (SII) to take Covid-19 vaccines to smaller towns and rural places.
SII CEO Adar Poonawalla stated the corporation is manufacturing vaccines at scale and the provide of Covishield would be out there for distribution. It was critical for all stakeholders to work with each other to carry out the inoculations and take the vaccines to the hinterland, Poonawalla stated. The partnership with CII is anticipated to close gaps and widen vaccination coverage.
