Even even though there was concern more than increasing Coronavirus infections in the previous handful of weeks, the Delhi government on Thursday informed the High Court right here that it is not going to impose a evening curfew in the city. The Aam Aadmi Party-led government mentioned that it has taken a thought of view just after assessing the Coronavirus circumstance, ANI reported.
“The Delhi government has taken a considered view, after assessing the situation, to not impose night curfew for now,” reads the status report submitted ahead of the court as reported by ANI.
The submission was created a week just after the HC bench of Justices Hima Kohli and Subramonium Prasad directed the Delhi government to ‘immediately’ take a selection on evening curfew and implement it without having delay.
In a status report filed in the High Court, the Delhi government mentioned that an order has been issued asking to preserve the status quo till December 3 with regard to activities that have been restricted and permitted in the city.
“So the government will not allow any new activity till December 31,” the Delhi government, which was represented by senior advocate Sandeep Sethi and added standing counsel Satyakam, mentioned.
Meanwhile, the court has directed the Arvind Kejriwal dispensation to concentrate on ‘testing and tracing’ in order to deal with the quantity of coronavirus infections in Delhi. The bench mentioned that the time taken to declare coronavirus test benefits must be brought down to inside 24 hours. At present, the benefits are declared in about 48 hours or even additional.
The bench mentioned that the benefits can be sent to men and women on their mobile numbers and it can be updated on the web site later. The ideas by the bench came when hearing a plea by advocate Rakesh Malhotra, who sought to enhance the quantity of coronavirus testing in Delhi.
