Coronavirus Karnataka update: Karnataka may face a second wave of coronavirus infection in January 2021 right after the New Year, recommended a technical advisory committee that guides the state government in its handling of the Covid-19 pandemic predicament. The committee has advised the authorities to take sufficient measures like evening curfew to minimise social gatherings through the period involving Christmas and the New Year — from December 26 and January 1.
