Twitter Spaces: Twitter is increasingly indicating its commitment to develop its newly introduced feature ‘Spaces’, and now, it has decided to reflect this commitment in its mobile app. The microblogging web page has incorporated a devoted section for Spaces in its mobile Twitter app, which appears equivalent to the layout of its competitor Clubhouse. This section is getting tested in the new version of the iOS app, and the devoted Spaces section can be accessed with the aid of the icon placed among the discover and notification tabs at the bottom of the screen.

The feature has been below testing for some time, and now, Twitter has officially announced that it is testing this feature in a tweet posted earlier on Friday. As per reports, at present, only about 500 people today are involved in the testing, who had also been amongst the beta testers for the feature in the initially location.
Reports have also mentioned that at present, this version of the feature presents more specifics about the Space like the name of the host and the participants that a user knows in each and every card.
However, it appears that in some time this feature would be expanded to aid customers learn new Spaces, as a version which had been previewed by CFO Ned Segal last month had also shown a sub-section marked as “outside your network”.
It appears like Twitter is attempting to bring in features that would make its Spaces substantially more like Clubhouse, which is an invite-only audio social media platform employed by important tech market leaders like Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. Spaces was added to Twitter as a direct competitors to Clubhouse right after the latter’s reputation zoomed. The addition of a specific tab for Spaces is indicative of the value of this feature to Twitter.
However, whilst Clubhouse only gives audio chats as its major feature, Twitter aims to provide a number of types of communications, and so, it also required this feature to simplify the app. At present, customers are only capable to come across Spaces amongst the Fleets that show at the major of the web page, which suggests that adding a separate section would make it simpler for customers to navigate the app.
