With Chelsea ninth in the Premier League table, Frank Lampard became the newest head coach to face the boot from owner Roman Abramovich, on Monday. Having guided his club to a 4th Round FA Cup win more than Luton Town, fans have been left disappointed to see their club legend join the bandwagon of managers finding sacked by Abramovich. In a statement released by the club, the billionaire revealed that it was a pretty tricky choice due to their individual connection. A former England and Chelsea midfielder, Lampard joined Chelsea as head coach on July 4, 2019.
Fans have been left shaken with the news, taking into consideration the legendary status of Lampard in the club. The 42-year-old joined Chelsea soon after beginning his managerial profession with Derby County.Despite Chelsea’s poor kind, fans took to social media to spend their tributes and hailed Lampard. One fan tweeted, “Gone but NEVER forgotten. He will forever be a Chelsea legend and an example for all the players that play and will play for this club.”
Gone but In no way forgotten. He will forever be a Chelsea legend and an instance for all the players that play and will play for this club.

Patience is a virtue your board should learn from. Long term lampard would’ve been a great manager and your patience would’ve been rewarded. Now you’re probably going to get short term success and be back to square 1 in a few months.”
Not even attempting to banter but this is stupid. Patience is a virtue your board really should find out from. Long term lampard would’ve been a good manager and your patience would’ve been rewarded. Now you are in all probability going to get brief term accomplishment and be back to square 1 in a couple of months.

Of all the sackings Chelsea have performed down the years, this 1 is the most baffling. A club legend sacked on the back of 1 sticky spell. Brutal beyond belief.
This is ridiculous, I can not think this.
I’m leaving this club for superior.

We move…. Another sack loading for the next coach…. It’s a Chelsea issue

Everyone knows my feelings on Frank. I wholeheartedly disagree with the choice to sack him. I never ever want to hear the board speak about a project once more when they replace any manager or the next. They are impatient & this is a actually dark day for our club. Disgusted

The initial and final Premier League objective in the Frank Lampard era was scored by Mason Mount. Poetic.
— Dubois (@CFCDUBois) January 25, 2021Lampard had a profitable profession with Chelsea as a player. Joining them from West Ham United, he won 3 Premier League titles with the club. Other than a UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League title, he also won 4 FA Cups, two League Cups and a Community Shield trophy.
