Results of Class 10th will be ready on the basis of an objective criterion to be created by the Board. “Any candidate who is not satisfied with the marks allocated to him/her on this basis will be given an opportunity to sit in an exam as and when the conditions are conducive to hold the exams” a press release stated. The selection for conducting the Class 12th exams will be taken later, following reviewing the scenario by the Board on June 1st, the Ministry of Education stated.
The Class10 and 12 exams had been scheduled to start on May 4 and held by way of mid-June. The exams would be in the “offline-written mode” and the exam centres will be enhanced, the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) stated in February at a time day-to-day Covid situations in India had dropped to fewer than 15,000 a day.
