The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs on Wednesday authorized a revamped ‘Post Matric Scholarship to students belonging to Scheduled Castes (PMS-SC)’, which will advantage more than 4 crore SC students more than the subsequent couple of years at an estimated price of Rs 59,048 crore.
