Alphabet Inc’s Google and Facebook Inc stated on Wednesday all U.S. personnel should get vaccinated to step into offices. Google is also organizing to expand its vaccination drive to other regions in the coming months.
According to a Deadline report, streaming giant Netflix Inc has also implemented a policy mandating vaccinations for the cast and crew on all its U.S productions.
Apple Inc plans to restore its mask requirement policy at most of its U.S. retail shops, each for prospects and employees, even if they are vaccinated, Bloomberg News reported.
Apple and Netflix did not straight away respond to requests for comments.
Many tech corporations such as Microsoft Corp and Uber have stated they anticipate personnel to return to workplace, months immediately after pandemic-induced lockdowns forced them to shift to working from home.
In April, Salesforce stated it would enable vaccinated personnel to return to some of its offices.
Google also stated on Wednesday it would extend its work-from-home policy by way of Oct. 18 due to a current rise in situations brought on by the Delta variant across various regions.
