The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Saturday referred to as 3 senior IPS officers to serve in central deputation soon after the attack on BJP chief JP Nadda’s convoy in West Bengal.
Government sources stated 3 officers, who are at the level of ADG, DIG and SP, have been referred to as on central deputation for the alleged lapse in safety of Nadda.
Sources stated the Centre can get in touch with central services officers on central deputation and they could also face some really serious disciplinary action for any lapses.
They stated the state has no part as these IAS and IPS officers as cadre controlling authority is DoPT and MHA respectively.
