Anand Mahindra is an active Twitter user, but hardly ever does the Chairman of Mahindra Group share his personal photographs on social media. On Sunday, on the other hand, Mr Mahindra posted a uncommon selfie which shows him wearing sunglasses, or, as he calls them, his “Axar shades”. In undertaking so, the industrialist fulfilled a guarantee he had produced to a fan.
It all began on March 6, when Anand Mahindra shared a tweet applauding the Indian cricket group for their impressive win more than England in the fourth Test at Ahmedabad. In his tweet, he shared a image of Axar Patel — whose standout overall performance helped win the match — wearing white-framed sunglasses. “I need to get these sunglasses to commemorate the victory,” Mr Mahindra wrote.

Anand Mahindra had also shared a image of himself in February final year. While travelling to Narmada in Gujarat, he produced a pit cease at the Statue of Unity in Kevadiya and shared a image with the world’s tallest statue.
