Milan:
A smaller private plane crashed into an empty developing on the outskirts of Milan, northern Italy, on Sunday, killing all eight men and women onboard, police stated.
The plane, which took off from Milan’s Linate city airport, was headed for the island of Sardinia, officials stated.
The crash occurred just outdoors a suburban metro station.
People in the location could hear a blast when the plane collided with the two-story developing, which was empty at the time as it was getting renovated.
Flames and smoke shot in the air and a number of autos parked along the street caught fire, witnesses stated, but no other casualties had been reported.
