The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) of Hong Kong announced it will update its policies on virtual currency sales and requirements “in light of the latest market developments and enquiries from the industry.”  In an Oct. 20 notice, the SFC said that under the updated guidelines, certain virtual currency products will only be available to professional investors. Data from Lookonchain, a blockchain analytics platform, on October 20, shows that one Ethereum (ETH) whale is actively moving coins to Kraken, a crypto exchange, and appears to be selling. The unidentified whale deposited 35,176 ETH, worth over $56.5 million when writing, and withdrew $10 million in USDT hours later.
