BHOPAL: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has stated information of any girl, going out of the state in quest of livelihood, will be registered. He created the above statement in an occasion of women’s self-aid group on Friday. The CM stated 3,000 girls of MP had gone missing and a campaign would quickly be launched to trace them. Many girls taken out of the state on pretext of jobs go missing, Chouhan stated.
It came to light in a survey that a lot of girls had gone missing for a lot of years and the police have been asked to search for them, the CM stated. The police will gather facts about these girls, he stated, adding that the police have been told to register names of these girls who are taken out of the state for job. The police must have all the facts about the individual with whom the girl is going and exactly where she is going, Chouhan stated. The situation of missing girls, most of them belong to a variety of tribal communities, was raised earlier.The Chief Minister has sought cooperation of self-aid groups in tracing the missing girls. The self-aid groups must also aid police to gather facts about a girl going out of any village for job, he stated. Apart from that, there will be a drug de-addiction campaign, Chouhan stated.
