Amazon, which has more than 8.5 lakh sellers on its India marketplace, on Tuesday stated 78 per cent of 1,965 sellers surveyed to gauge their expectations from the festive season talked about reaching out to new consumers although 71 per cent anticipated an raise in sales. Moreover, practically 50 per cent respondents indicated that they will sell on Amazon.in in the course of the festive season for the first time.
